Odd resin and wooden shapes attached to seat belt like material, woven to form a chunky background. Grey ankle socks with mustard yellow heels and toes from J CREW. Off to a meeting in Dublin, Wednesday February 24th 2010, I am wearing NICOLA FINETTI long black, pleat back cotton coat from a couple of seasons ago. Long sleeve grey jersey GAP T-shirt which is about 10 years old and washed to featherlight perfection. Silk camisole top in dark pewter from my own collection s/s 2009. Tan calfskin waist belt from my own collection. Pleated cotton knee length skirt, vintage bought in Rellik London. Charcoal grey cashmere arm warmers by Irish designer EILIS BOYLE. Black opaque tights from WOLFORD. Knee high ACNE leather boots, current season. GINETTE NY, gold circle neckchain . Scent is Geranium Bourbon by MILLER HARRIS. Lipstick is Lover by CHANEL.

It’s a rainy night here in L.A. I’m wearing a short THAKOON black tie-dye print dress with a vintage tan leather belt that used to belong to my mother. Underneath, I have on a pair of black crochet tights from J.CREW. To keep warm, I’ve added a black and white striped scarf from India and a burgundy velvet blazer from J.CREW with the sleeves folded up to show the marigold-yellow satin lining. I’d like to wear a pair of embroidered lace-up red canvas slippers bought in S.F. Chinatown last summer, but due to the weather will probably end up wearing my vintage black cowboy boots that I’ve had since I was 15.

It’s been a bit cold here in LA lately. Always nice to be able to dress for it. So today, a pair of dark grey, almost black, HUGO BOSS slacks. A white, GAP v-neck shirt. A multi-color plaid button down from THE HUNDREDS. A scarf my sister brought home for me from her trip to Cambodia last year. A tan UNIQLO x Opening Ceremony cotton/linen jacket. PAUL SMITH neon green and grey striped socks to keep my feet warm. Espresso and khaki checkered VANS New Era shoes to top it off. In my pockets, folding wayfarers, COMME DES GARÇONS 3-zip wallet, keys and iPhone.

December 17th, Los Angeles, 11am, off to a photoshoot.
