I am wearing an old green army style shirt from GAP – with nice pleats on the pocket, and a pair of Khaki shorts with cargo pockets – very functional and utilitarian. I am also wearing a UNIQLO Tee with yellow socks, also from UNIQLO. It’s 6:00pm and I am sitting at my desk after a day of walking the streets with my camera, in London’s Urban jungle.

Today I’m wearing a raw denim (very tight) jeans by A.P.C., a khaki silk dress by ACNE, pink socks by H&M (no shoes; I’m at home), black second-skin underwear by H&M and a cream scarf by STARSTYLING (collection Die Kunst). As piece of jewelry, I only wear my 2 small flesh tunnels and my tattoos. Recently it has been very cold and slippery in Basel, so I can’t go outside without wearing my red coat bought at ASOS and my high-gloss black DR. MARTIN boots.

Today, since it’s a little warmer than usual, I’ve made the switch from full on winter layers and all that to something a bit more chilled out. I’ve got one of those work-shirt numbers on, but it’s engineers striped, from LEVIS. POLO Rugby chinos in a lighter-than-usual khaki, and a pair of POLO cookie boots. Some say their kind of corny, but I like them and they’re not three-full-bills expensive. Outwear-wise, a vintage ORVIS brown and green navajo print fleece shirt jacket. Probably one of my favorite vintage finds. Oh and some VALENTINO sunglasses, clubmaster frames.
I’m at my desk, but about to head outside and enjoy the sunshine.

It’s been a bit cold here in LA lately. Always nice to be able to dress for it. So today, a pair of dark grey, almost black, HUGO BOSS slacks. A white, GAP v-neck shirt. A multi-color plaid button down from THE HUNDREDS. A scarf my sister brought home for me from her trip to Cambodia last year. A tan UNIQLO x Opening Ceremony cotton/linen jacket. PAUL SMITH neon green and grey striped socks to keep my feet warm. Espresso and khaki checkered VANS New Era shoes to top it off. In my pockets, folding wayfarers, COMME DES GARÇONS 3-zip wallet, keys and iPhone.
December 17th, Los Angeles, 11am, off to a photoshoot.

Today I am wearing a high waisted, full white cotton skirt that I found at a vintage market in Berlin. It is very cold outside, so I am wearing a pair of dark grey wool tights underneath. My top is tucked into my skirt; it is a skin coloured vest out of very fine jersey from APPLETREE in Notting Hill. I like printed objects and my vest has a faint, slightly distorted rose pattern on it. I am also wearing a gold necklace that simply says “Marie” in very small writing, I once got it as a present when I was in primary school. My shoes are very worn and weather beaten leather ankle-boots from a little shoe shop in Münster, Germany. Every time I look at them I think that I should really take them to the cobbler. It is raining today, so I am also wearing my khaki raincoat I got from TOPSHOP two years ago and a long black knitted scarf. My outfit is complete with a stripy knitted hat from SAINT JAMES and a canvas bag with one of my own prints on it.
