Two-tone brown striped tank top from H&M tucked into my jeans and a T by ALEXANDER WANG black short-sleeve tee with welt pocket tucked just in the front (I always let the back hang out). The tee is kind of sheer so you can see the stripes from the tank top underneath. My current favorite jeans are ACNE Hug fit, which are low rise, acid wash and are perfectly slouchy at the top and narrow at the leg. The shoes are green moccasins with a ribbon bow by CHLOE. They are the softest leather ever and were a Christmas present from my mom in 2006. We had seen them at a store the year before but they were too expensive and when we went back a year later, they were deeply discounted. It was meant to be. I rarely wear them because they are just so delicate.
I wear the same accessories everyday, A GILES & BROTHER silver stud earring that looks like the top of a screw and a gold and black CHANEL shoe and logo dangling earring that my mom got me in Paris on my left ear and a GILES & BROTHER crazy metallic cluster stud on my right ear. On my neck are two chains, one is a gold TIFFANY key that my mom gave me on my 25th birthday and a vintage gold spider charm with a tiny turquoise body that used to belong to my grandma and she gave to me a few years ago. I still wear my class ring on my right ring finger which is kinda nerdy, but whatever, I got used to it so now I just can’t take it off. I wear two rings on my middle finger on my left hand, a bear one by PAMELA LOVE and an eagle head by ANNA SHEFFIELD. My current sunglasses are black flat-top frames by RETROSUPERFUTURE.
I wore this yesterday on my first beautiful-spring day while I ran some errands in the city.

Today I’m wearing a raw denim (very tight) jeans by A.P.C., a khaki silk dress by ACNE, pink socks by H&M (no shoes; I’m at home), black second-skin underwear by H&M and a cream scarf by STARSTYLING (collection Die Kunst). As piece of jewelry, I only wear my 2 small flesh tunnels and my tattoos. Recently it has been very cold and slippery in Basel, so I can’t go outside without wearing my red coat bought at ASOS and my high-gloss black DR. MARTIN boots.

Today I’m wearing ANN DEMEULEMEESTER lace-up boots in black color from her fall 2008 collection, black ACNE skinny jeans, JAMES PERSE black tee and RICK OWENS assymetrical hoodie in dusted purple color with a hood. It’s pretty cold in Moscow in winter so I’m also wearing dark grey VIRIDI-ANNE scarf and ANN DEMEULEMEESTER black coat from I think 2005 or 2006 collection. It’s quite old. I’m also wearing Wode by BOUDICCA paint perfume which is my favourite, tiny tooth pendant from PYRHA, and four rings – MARGIELA ring with inside out transparent crystal, UGO CACCIATORI ring, a cheap black oval ring from Camden market and a claw ring. And a necklace with Jesus who has a footbal player attached to his feet. I have MISCHIKO KOSHINO bag with me, it’s black leather tote and it has two Mikey Mouse-styled hands (literally).

I am wearing a black oversize ACNE mohair cardigan and a grey coat without a collar by HOPE. My pants are UNIQLO black skinny jeans in a 3/4 lenght.
Burgundy silk socks inside black tai-chi slippers from chinatown/nyc, and these even if it’s raining outside but to keep extra warm everywhere else, I wear my black HERMÈS cashmere scarf and grey leather gloves by ROECKL. Overall a very warm outfit, besides the shoes of course.
Accessory or perfume: dior ‘bois d’argent’ perfume and black HOPE oversize canvas bag (inside: a pair of black desert boots from a collaboration by JIL SANDER with CLARKS a couple of years ago. Just in case rain gets too much on the slippers)

Today is the opening of our fourth Rooftop Cinema season, Tuesday November 17th, 2009. As I have recently become de-sensitized to the joys of opening nights, I thought I would dress up properly this time and at least look like I feel it. My shirt is from A.P.C. It is a beautiful crisp summer business shirt with a rather broad white collar and a thin light blue pinstripe. What I love most however, is that when you do up the top button, the shirt somehow doesn’t look like it needs a tie – and the cuffs double back to give you a real ‘captain-o-the-sea’ look. My cufflinks are truly special to me as they were my father’s. They’re rose gold with a magnificent Lapis Lazuli pane – a deep blue gemstone that matches the film we are showing tonight Le Grand Bleu. My shorts are now a collector’s piece because sadly the Melbourne label SCHWIPE that released them has shut up shop. They’re a simple white board-short that I will most likely ruin with red wine tonight. And as for my footwear: a simple white sneaker from ACNE and fortunately a clean white sock from UNIQLO which makes me feel safe.

I am wearing an all black outfit consisting of a HELMUT LANG tank top from the infamous SS04 collection, layered up with a sheer longsleeve and a too tight ACNE JEANS suit jacket. A triangle porcelain brooch is placed on the right lapel. The trousers are from CHEAP MONDAY, underneath I wear black briefs from YVES SAINT LAURENT. White tennis socks add a bit of awkwardness, only outshined by vintage leopard print boots that were a gift from a dear friend. My highly beloved scent is L’EAU TROIS from DIPTYQUE. A fragrance with a strong sillage and persistence. It includes notes of rosemary, myrrh, myrtle, oregano, cistus labdanum, pine, laurel, and thyme. It smells a bit like hairy men and church what I adore.
